Terms of service
CoreFusionOS is an operating system for chambers of commerce and small organizations. It runs the organization's member records, events, bookings, invoices, and website in one place. This page is the agreement for using it, in plain words. It covers who the service is for, what a seat is, what you may and may not do, whose data it is, what it costs, and how the agreement ends.

CoreFusionOS is for organizations, not for individuals. A chamber of commerce, a trade group, an association, or a small business uses it as an organization. The person who accepts these terms accepts them for their organization, and must be allowed to do that. On this page, "you" means the organization. These terms are the agreement between your organization and Buzzfish Media for the use of CoreFusionOS.

Each organization has its own account. Its staff work from seats on that account. Every seat has a level, which says whose records the seat can reach, and hats, which say what the seat may do in each part of the product. A hat never reaches past its level, so no seat in one organization can reach another organization. Your organization decides who holds a seat, and is responsible for what its seats do. When a person leaves, take their seat away. A seat signs in by a link sent to its email address, and there are no passwords, so keep that email account safe.

Use CoreFusionOS lawfully, for your organization's own work. In particular, this is what you agree not to do.
If we see use that breaks this section, we can suspend the seat or the organization involved. We will tell you what we saw and why.

Everything your organization puts into CoreFusionOS belongs to your organization. It sits in a database that holds only your records. We do not sell, rent, or trade it, and we do not share it with anyone outside your organization except as needed to run the service for you. You can ask for a copy of your data at any time, and we will give it to you in an ordinary, readable form. The privacy page says what the platform reads and writes, and that page governs it.

An organization can connect CoreFusionOS to Google Workspace. The connection is optional. What it reads from Google, what it writes, and what it never touches are stated on the privacy page, and that page governs the connection. Your use of Google's services stays under Google's own terms. Your Google Workspace administrator can uninstall the app at any time, and a staff member can remove their own connection from their Staff page. When a connection is removed, we stop every call to Google for that account.

Fees are what your organization and Buzzfish Media agree in writing when the organization is set up. There is no price list on this site. If a fee goes unpaid, we tell you first and give you time to put it right. If it stays unpaid after that, we suspend the organization's account, and its seats cannot sign in until the fee is settled. We never delete an organization's data for non-payment without telling you first. Refunds are as agreed in writing between your organization and Buzzfish Media. Money your organization collects from its own members through the platform is your organization's, and it is settled between you, your members, and your payment processor.

Every part of the platform that can spend money or send on your behalf has a ceiling. The ceilings are set for each organization when it is created, and they exist on purpose.
When a cap is reached, that path stops and someone is told. It does not queue and run later. If your organization needs a cap raised, write to us and a person will look at it.

We work to keep CoreFusionOS available, and we fix what breaks. We do not promise a particular level of uptime on this page. When we plan work that will take the service down, we tell you before it happens. For help, write to support@buzzfishmedia.com. We reply as quickly as we can.

Your organization can end this agreement at any time by telling us in writing. We can end it too, and we will give you thirty days' notice, unless the acceptable use section has been broken. After the agreement ends, we keep your organization's database for thirty days so you can still ask for a copy of your data. After that we remove the database, and the data in it is gone.

CoreFusionOS is provided as it is. If something we did causes your organization a loss, what we owe you is limited to the fees your organization paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not responsible for loss that comes from how your organization uses the platform, from a service outside it such as Google or your payment processor, or from data your organization chose to put in. Where the law does not let us limit what we owe, we do not.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, in the United States. A dispute we cannot settle by talking goes to the courts of Kansas.

When these terms change, this page changes first, and the date at the top changes with it. If a change takes something away from your organization, we tell you before it takes effect. Using the platform after the date at the top means your organization accepts the change.
